A well with media only/no cells. Must have defined amounts of glucose and lactate. Note: reference blanks are required.
  • If using multiple media types, include at least one blank well for every type of media being used.

Media with defined glucose and lactate concentrations. Calibration A with glucose and lactate at set concentrations, and Calibration B with glucose and lactate at different set concentrations (must be different than the concentrations prepared for Calibration A). No cells used for Calibration solution prep.
  • Note: Preparation of Calibration solutions must fall within glucose and lactate LOD.
    • Glucose LOD: 1-27mM
    • Lactate LOD: 1-15mM

Each calibration runs 24 hours for a total of 48 hours.

Only in the event of multiple errors across several runs, or at the suggestion of a PHCNA certified technician.

1 mL is recommended, but as little as 0.5 mL can be used
  • Note: Do not use more than 1 mL
